You may use this service if you self-identify as a member of the Cassandra Syndrome recovery community and agree to these Terms of Use. No diagnosis is required. You may not use the service if you disagree with these Terms or if you have been previously banned from our platform for any reason. Our services may change or become unavailable at any time for any reason including but not limited website or internet issues. We do not guarantee availability of our services at any time for any reason. You are using our services at your own risk, which could include exposure to inaccurate or offensive content. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone at any time.
Listings
You assume responsibility for the listings you add to our site. We reserve the right to deny listings or to modify listings for any reason. While we generally try to check listings for appropriateness, we do not typically edit user-submitted listings, and we are not responsible for their accuracy or lack thereof. All listings are subject to our Content Guidelines.
Reviews
You assume responsibility for the reviews you add to our site. We reserve the right to deny reviews, and we are not responsible for the accuracy or appropriateness of user-submitted reviews. All reviews are subject to our Content Guidelines.
Advertising
Advertising is allowed on our site only through working with our ad team. All other promotional content is prohibited.
Timeframe
Content submitted to our site is held for a time before publishing as a preventative tool against excessive spam submissions. Due to a high volume of submissions, the timing between when you submit your content to when it is published may vary from 24 hours to three weeks. We do not guarantee that all of your submitted content will be published. You may re-submit your content if more than three weeks have passed, your listing meets our Content Guidelines, and has not yet been published.
Intellectual Property
By using our services, you represent that you have appropriate rights to use the content you submit. Use of Cassandra Directory intellectual property including our logo and website content without our explicit written permission is prohibited. If you are the owner of intellectual property that you would like to remove from our site, please contact us.
Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Our service is “as-is” and we make no representations of availability, accuracy, relevance, or appropriateness. We do not monitor, control, nor assume responsibility for user-submitted content nor third-party content on our platform. Our service is for “information-only” and for use “at-your-own-risk.” Cassandra Directory makes no claims about the quality, accuracy, usefulness, or safety of user-generated or third-party content or third-party claims. We are not liable for your reliance on the content on our site. You are responsible for your own due diligence in all matters.
Effective Date
This Agreement goes into effect the moment you access our website and remains in effect until you terminate your use of our site or we terminate your use of our site.
Termination
You may terminate your agreement with Cassandra Directory at any time by canceling your user account and ceasing to use our site and all associated accounts such as social accounts. We may cancel your account at any time for any reason, without notice and without liability of any kind.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The formation, construction, performance and enforcement of this Agreement shall be in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state of Washington without regard to its conflict of law provisions or the conflict of law provisions of any other jurisdiction. In the event of a dispute arising out of this Agreement, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute by negotiation between the parties. If they are unable to resolve the dispute, either party may commence mediation and/or binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association, or other forum mutually agreed to by the parties. The prevailing party in any dispute resolved by binding arbitration or litigation shall be entitled to recover its attorneys’ fees and costs. In all other circumstances, the parties specifically consent to the local, state and federal courts located in the state of Washington. The parties hereby waive any jurisdictional or venue defenses available to them and further consent to service of process by mail. Client acknowledges that Cassandra Directory will have no adequate remedy at law in the event Client uses Deliverables in any way not permitted hereunder, and hereby agrees that Cassandra Directory shall be entitled to equitable relief by way of temporary and permanent injunction, and such other and further relief at law or equity as any arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction may deem just and proper, in addition to any and all other remedies provided for herein.
