We made Cassandra Directory as a free-to-use resource that would be easy to find for those who really need it. We appreciate that most people who find and use this site will “understand the assignment,” and use the resources here respectfully. However, as a publicly available website, we want to explicitly state our expectations.
If you participate by adding reviews or listings to this website, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Relevance
When adding your content to our site such as reviews, new listings, or writing for the blog, please keep your content centered around the Cassandra Syndrome experience and how the resources have related to your healing journey. It’s okay to share resources that are not specifically about Cassandra Syndrome, but if you do, please add some comments about how they relate to your journey and how you found them helpful.
Respect
Please keep your language family-friendly. Be mindful that anyone could be reading your content and be respectful of everyone. No bullying, shaming, victim-blaming, or name-calling. If you are leaving a negative review, add some thoughtful commentary as to why, without unnecessary negativity. Let’s assume others have the best intentions and treat others as we would like to be treated. Likewise, no lewd content, harassment, hate speech, threats, bigotry, or inappropriate photos.
Privacy
You may choose to use your own name or you may use an alias to protect your privacy. When it comes to others, do not use others’ real names or any identifying information. No doxing. No publishing elsewhere what someone has written here in confidence. No publishing here what others have written elsewhere in confidence. If you are sharing your personal photos, do not share photos of individuals other than yourself.
No self-promotion
We welcome advertisers to our site only through our ad team. All content should conform to our Relevancy guidelines. Do not post promotional content via Cassandra Directory listings, reviews, comments, or social media. You may add your own offering to our directory if it explicitly serves the Cassandra Syndrome recovery community, with your contact information and website home page, however do not add promotions or other links. If you offer a peripheral service such as somatic therapy, you may list your service in the directory as long as it includes language explaining exactly how it serves the Cassandra Syndrome recovery community. Be sure to specify where your services apply, as many people are looking for local resources, but this website itself is worldwide. Do not solicit reviews for your business or inflate your reviews with fake accounts.
Sharing
Please share our content freely within the Cassandra Syndrome recovery community. Be mindful of others and do not spam anyone with our content or with requests to add reviews.
